District Attorney Dave Strouse

David StrouseDave Strouse has served as the District Attorney of Clinton County since January 2, 2016. Prior to his election, Dave maintained a private law practice in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, and also served as a Public Defender for Clinton County for more than seven years.

Dave currently serves as the Vice President of the Pennsylvania District Attorney's Association (PDAA), previously holding the office of Treasurer.

He is an active member of various Clinton County organizations including: the Criminal Justice Advisory Board, the Victim/Witness Policy Board, the Sexual Assault Response Team, the STOP Violence Against Women Grant Coordinating Team, the Multidisciplinary Investigative Team, and the Child Death Review Team. Dave is also a member of the Clinton County Advocates for a Drug Free Tomorrow.

Dave volunteers his time as a coach for several teams in Keystone Little League Baseball with his three boys.

Dave was born and raised in Clinton County, growing up in Beech Creek.  He graduated from Bald Eagle-Nittany High School, Penn State University Altoona College and Villanova University School of Law.  Dave, his wife, Sara, and their three sons live in Lamar Township.
