Oakley serves as the Clinton County Therapy Dog working for crime victims and children involved with Children & Youth Services. Oakley is a Catahoula Leopard dog rescued from Louisiana.  Oakley trained and successfully obtained her Canine Good Citizen certificate, advanced obedience certificate and official title and she successfully passed the Therapy Dog test along with Jen Bottorf, her handler. Since she is a therapy dog, she is not trained like service dogs or facility dogs to be able to withstand a full day of stress of working.

Lexington was also a therapy dog for Clinton County and she was also a rescue dog from Louisiana.  She loved coming to work and seeing all of the people.  Sadly, Lexi passed away on September 23, 2025.  She devoted 7 years of her wagging tail to make people smile. She will be deeply missed.  She was loved by everyone who met her.
