Clinton County Planning Commission

The Clinton County Planning Commission is a nine-member volunteer board representing various geographical regions and professional backgrounds. Members are appointed by the Clinton County Commissioners and serve a four-year term. Their responsibilities are:

  • Review all subdivision and land development plans for adherence to the Clinton County Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance (SALDO) and Clinton County Comprehensive Plan.
  • Review and recommend to the Commissioners updates to the County SALDO, Zoning Ordinance, and Comprehensive Plan.
  • Review any requested changes to all municipal zoning ordinances and maps, and forward comments to the appropriate officials for each municipality.

Public Meeting Schedule

Unless modified by public notice, meetings will be held on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the First Floor Conference Room of the Clinton County Piper Building, 2 Piper Way, Lock Haven.
