PulsePoint: Empowering Our Community to Save Lives

Clinton County is proud to partner with the PulsePoint app — a life-saving tool designed to connect CPR-trained citizens with nearby cardiac emergencies. When every second counts, you can make a difference.

What is PulsePoint?

PulsePoint is a free mobile app that alerts community members when someone nearby is experiencing a sudden cardiac arrest in a public place. By providing immediate CPR before emergency responders arrive, bystanders can double or triple the chances of survival.

How It Works:
- Get Notified: If someone nearby needs CPR, the app sends an alert directly to your phone.
- Find an AED: The app shows the location of the nearest Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
- Take Action: If you’re trained in CPR, you can step in and provide life-saving care until professional responders arrive.

Why It Matters:
Sudden cardiac arrest can happen anytime, anywhere — and survival depends on quick action. PulsePoint turns everyday citizens into everyday heroes by creating a connected, responsive community.
