The Clinton County Conservation District is proud to offer the Rich Ramm Memorial Scholarship, established in memory of Rich Ramm, local farmer and agronomy graduate, who passed away in 1992. The scholarship fund is held through the Clinton County Community Foundation and is awarded annually by the Clinton County Conservation District to support students pursuing careers in agriculture and natural resources.
This scholarship was created to honor Mr. Ramm’s connection to the local agricultural community and his interest in the conservation of natural resources. Through this award, the Conservation District and the Community Foundation continue to support students who are committed to protecting and managing the natural resources of our region.
Award Amount
For 2026, a total of $1,858.00 is available and will be divided between two selected students. This was fund was established through donations of Mr. Ramm's friends.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a graduating high school senior or current college student residing in Clinton County
- Plan to attend and/or are currently attending a college, university, technical school, or trade program
- Intend to pursue a field related to agriculture, conservation, or natural resources
- Demonstrate involvement in environmental, agricultural, or community activities
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit
- A completed scholarship application
- A one-page essay describing:
- Involvement in agriculture, conservation, or natural resources
- Volunteer or community activities
- What preserving the environment means to you
- Plans after high school or college
Deadline
Applications must be received by:
May 8th, 2026 at 4:00 PM
- Applications must be delivered to the district office by either hand delivery, mail, or email. Mail/Hand Deliver Applications to: 45 Cooperation Lane, Mill Hall, PA 17751
- A secure afterhours drop box is located at the above address for hand delivery after hours

Late Applications will not be accepted.
Award Presentation
Scholarship recipients will be recognized at the:
Clinton County Conservation District Board Meeting on May 21, 2026.
Attendance is required in order to accept the award. Recipients will be presented with a certificate and may be photographed for District publications.
