Leadership Clinton County learns about local government, more

LOCK HAVEN- Leadership Clinton County met twice during the month of February.

Their most recent small group informational session was on Friday, Feb. 13, where they met with law enforcement, local government and elections.

Invited to speak were Mark Long, of State Senator Cris Dush's office, State Representative Stephanie Borowicz, County Commissioners Jeff Snyder and Jim Russo, Lock Haven Mayor Joel Long and Chief Clerk Desiree Myers.

County Commissioner Angela Harding and Jason Laubscher of Voter Registration presented "How to become a candidate for office" to the group.

Participants also toured Planning, GIS and Assessment Offices, Children & Youth, Resource Care, Reach Out Mentoring Program, Domestic Relations and the office of Register & Recorder, each led by their respective department heads.
