Night Out set for Saturday

LOCK HAVEN - Families and area residents interested in learning more about local law enforcement can head to the Piper Building tonight for the Fourth Annual Clinton County Night Out.

The event, organized each year by Clinton County Sheriff Kerry Stover and District Attorney Dave Strouse, is set for this Saturday, Aug. 16, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Clinton County Piper Complex, 2 Piper Way, Lock Haven.

This, like many other Night Out events held nationwide, is a community team building event featuring all levels of law enforcement, fire and rescue, emergency medical personnel and first responders.

Families will have the chance to meet local emergency service personnel, participate in various activities, get an up close look at various apparatus and learn about what each organization can provide.

Like in years past, attendees can also enjoy a hot dog, drink and chips while they visit the various booths.
