Clinton County Department of Emergency Services to hold hiring event April 22

FLEMINGTON - The Clinton County Department of Emergency Services will be holding a hiring event on April 22 from 3 to 7 p.m.

"Are you ready to make a difference in your community? We're looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as 911 Dispatchers," a release from the department said. "If you have a passion for helping others, excellent communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure, we want to meet you!"

The event will be held at the Department of Emergency Services, 311 Frederick St., Lock Haven.

At the event, interested candidates will have the opportunity to:

- Learn about the role of a 911 dispatcher.

- Tour the facility.

- Meet team members

- Apply in-person

- Participate in on-the-spot interviews and testing

- Complete background checks.
