POSITION TITLE: Executive Director – Northcentral Regional ATV Trail (NRAT)

 SUPERVISOR: Commissioner Jeff Snyder                              

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  BS/BA degree in public administration, outdoor recreation, environmental science or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and/or commensurate professional experience in

a related field, acceptable to the Board, that demonstrates the skills and knowledge required.  Five years management experience including staff and volunteer supervision; Fiscal and project supervision experience working with volunteers and special events. Experience working independently or in groups, ability to lead and present in small and large groups. Experience in trail or recreation management, nonprofit leadership, or public sector operations, management, marketing, or sales. Knowledge of Pennsylvania’s public land use regulations and DCNR trail system policies and knowledge of motorized and non-motorized recreation facility operations. Experience with grant writing, funding and sponsorship development, public process, and grant administration is strongly preferred. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across the NRAT region. Self-motivated with a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends with the ability to work in outdoor environments throughout the year. 

SALARY:  The Executive Director is a full-time, exempt, salaried position.
